    About the Job:

    We are currently looking for a passionate individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Engineering Director. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of manufacturing engineering practices to facilitate the efficient and cost-effective production of high-quality products.



    Responsibilities:
    • Initiating and managing programs focused on method enhancement and cost reduction to drive continuous improvements in product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
    • Developing and executing strategies to enhance overall manufacturing processes, assess equipment needs, and optimize facility layouts to ensure cost-effective high-quality production.
    • Collaborating with the Manufacturing Manager to identify areas for improvement, implement lean projects, and monitor metrics to track progress in cost and lead time reductions.
    • Creating and managing the capital equipment plan, including budget adherence to achieve operational goals.
    • Championing corporate Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives by promoting a safe workplace, conducting training, and leading emergency preparedness efforts.
    • Overseeing employee recruitment, training, and development to build a skilled workforce aligned with organizational objectives.
    • Collaborating with design engineers to enhance project efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
    • Assisting in the smooth transition of designs from engineering to production.
    • Enhancing manufacturing documentation and procedures while working closely with vendors and contract manufacturers.
    Experience:
    • Requires a B.S. in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
    • Seven to ten years of diverse experience in manufacturing engineering.
    • Proficiency in modern machine tools, manufacturing technologies, and process optimization.
    • Proven track record in developing manufacturing capabilities for new products and enhancing existing product lines.
    • Experience in lean manufacturing, six sigma, and Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
    • Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
