Job Description:
The Corporate Business Development Coordinator promotes Vanir Construction Management, Inc.
in various market segments through participation and branding at tradeshows, conventions, and other A/E/C associations and engagements and facilitates participation from each of the office areas in coordination with Area Managers and Area Business Development Leads, to achieve both corporate and area goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports in the development of an annual conference, sponsorship, and tradeshow master list and budget
- Supports in the development of a tradeshows purchasing list (including collateral, giveaways, etc.)
- Coordinates shipping of tradeshow materials and/or equipment to conferences etc.
- Manages onsite communications and coordinates conference/event participation
- Develops a conference and events master calendar
- Coordinates conference registration, advertisements, membership dues, and participation in coordination with the Area Managers and Area Business Development Leads
- Develops relationships with clients, professional organizations, and architectural/engineering and related firms

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or field related to construction
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development/ Marketing Coordinatorrelated position
- Familiar with the construction management industry
- Knowledge in principles and best practices of marketing and business development
- Knowledge in Vanir's business, policies, procedures, programs, and capabilities
- Works well with all types of people, and without close supervision
- Must be persistent, tactful, enthusiastic, resourceful and creative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Travel Required (up to 25%)
