    Description

    Craft NY is searching for their next host to be a part of their expanding team


    • Warmly welcoming and greeting guests, ensuring a smooth flow throughout the restaurant and to assigned dining tables
    • Coordinating and maintaining open communication with the Chef and managers regarding service
    • Assisting guests with checking-in, storing, and retrieving belongings while ensuring their security
    • Producing menus and updating shift notes regularly
    • Effectively communicating in both positive and challenging situations, and handling questions adeptly
    • Upholding high service standards to create memorable guest experiences
    • Adhering to the company's vision and values
    • Showcasing a keen eye for detail and a strong desire to learn
    • Participating in pre-service and closing duties as required
    • Demonstrating familiarity with daily menu offerings
    • Engaging in service and culinary education sessions
    • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 1 year experience as a Host(ess) in an upscale dining environment
    • Familiarity with POS and reservation systems
    • Genuine interest in the hospitality industry
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and welcome feedback
    • Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
    • Physically fit to bend, stoop, climb, walk, and carry objects
