    Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Quality Manager to join their team.

    In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of their quality control program, ensuring the open-die forgings meet the highest standards and customer specifications.


    Responsibilities:
    Maintain a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP)
    Lead the quality control team, including inspectors, and ensure they are properly trained on procedures and equipment
    Oversee all quality control activities throughout the production process, including inspections at raw material receiving, in-process stages, and final product inspection
    Analyze quality control data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to prevent defects
    Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures
    Work closely with production, engineering, and sales teams to identify and resolve quality issues
    Maintain and update quality control documentation, including inspection plans, procedures, and reports
    Stay up-to-date on the latest quality control methods and technologies for open-die forging
    Continuously improve the effectiveness of the QMS to achieve superior quality standards

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred)
    Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality control leadership role, preferably in open-die forging or a similar metal forming process
    Proven experience in developing and implementing a QMS
    Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices (e.g., SPC, PPAP)
    Experience with inspection methods for open-die forgings (e.g., dimensional inspection, ultrasonic testing)
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    Experience with quality control software (a plus)
