    **Description**

    The Customer Relations Representative is responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships by processing orders, coordinating and communicating all related tasks with speed, accuracy and professionalism. Excellent communication abilities are essential. Duties may also include some administrative assignments. Full training will be provided.

    ***Primary Responsibilities include but not limited to:***

    Receives orders via fax, EDI or email, enters into computer system and confirms back to customer in a timely manner.

    Resolves customer inquiries related to orders, products, delivery, etc.

    Ensures effective communication between cross-functional teams, both external and internal, to coordinate order completion and delivery.

    Requires knowledge of product lines, production and delivery schedules, and similar information as needed.

    Assists with onboarding new customers.

    Handle vendor managed inventory accounts (VMI).

    Keeps customer account notes and contact information up to date.

    Primary Account Rep and Backup Rep responsibilities as assigned.

    Ordering/coordinating product samples.

    Performs other tasks as assigned by Department Manager.

    ***Qualifications:***

    Associates degree and minimum one year Customer Service experience preferred.

    Polished verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to prioritize work and multi-task with a professional demeanor.

    Takes initiative, is well organized and detail-oriented.

    Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

    Adaptable to change with excellent time management skills and team player attitude.

    Works well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
