Summary:
We are in search of a meticulous and driven Shipping Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
As a pivotal member of our logistics department, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth coordination of outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate shipping records, and optimizing our shipping processes for efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Receive shipping orders and process them promptly and accurately in our ERP system.
- Verify quantities and shipping details for outbound items, ensuring compliance with order specifications.
- Construct crates for customer orders according to the procedures in the company quality system.
- Coordinate with internal teams to organize and prepare items for shipping.
- Maintain organized and labeled shipping areas to facilitate efficient handling of goods.
- Participate in periodic physical inventory counts as required.
- Continuously manage and improve shipping/RMA processes to enhance overall efficiency and reduce errors.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding shipping status and issues.
- Assist with customer returns and exchanges as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures in all shipping activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in shipping coordination or a similar role.
- Professional credential or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems for shipping and inventory management.
- Forklift certification. Hand tool familiarity including woodworking tools to make shipping crates.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
- Physical fitness to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and operating material handling equipment safely.

Pay:
$ $22.50 per hour
