Summary:

We are in search of a meticulous and driven Shipping Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

As a pivotal member of our logistics department, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth coordination of outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate shipping records, and optimizing our shipping processes for efficiency.


Responsibilities:


  • Receive shipping orders and process them promptly and accurately in our ERP system.
  • Verify quantities and shipping details for outbound items, ensuring compliance with order specifications.
  • Construct crates for customer orders according to the procedures in the company quality system.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to organize and prepare items for shipping.
  • Maintain organized and labeled shipping areas to facilitate efficient handling of goods.
  • Participate in periodic physical inventory counts as required.
  • Continuously manage and improve shipping/RMA processes to enhance overall efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding shipping status and issues.
  • Assist with customer returns and exchanges as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures in all shipping activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:


  • At least 3 years of experience in shipping coordination or a similar role.
  • Professional credential or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems for shipping and inventory management.
  • Forklift certification. Hand tool familiarity including woodworking tools to make shipping crates.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
  • Physical fitness to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and operating material handling equipment safely.

Pay:
$ $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
