Engineering - Hardware (Information & Communication Technology)
Pilot and deploy the Digital Roadmap for Sendayan plant in accordance with the global strategy
Pilot and deploy WinCC Connected equipment project (MCS)

Develop, maintain and optimise :
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Human Machine Interface (HMI)
Industrial database (SCADA/Historian)
Industrial Network (administration, configuration, etc.)
Instrumentation (sensors, thermocouple, etc.)
Internet of Things (IoT)
Reporting (Dashboards, Dream Report, etc.)

Assist in the development, deployment and configuration of industrial IT infrastructures.
Structure, acquire and display data for analysis by clients
Participate in equipment improvement and acquisition projects by providing technical support to the manager and the project team

Meet internal customers, understand and analyze their needs, propose solutions according to best practices in terms of automation, data acquisition and network infrastructure.

Manage external vendors and service providers in relation with the tasks.
Follow and be aware of new technologies and share knowledge's with other sites.

Pilot and deploy all automation activities across the plant, including Robot, PLC, ABB, Siemens and others systems, ensure availability of systems.

Functional Analysis of plant and Failure Mode Analysis of control systems.
Analyze data and propose preventative and predictive maintenance tasks to improve equipment reliability and operation.
Submit and support continuous improvement ideas and lean project to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost (KPI).
Define and pilot a set a KPI to show your performance and your improvements

Adhere and actively participate in occupational Safety, Health and Environmental policies, Energy policies procedures and activities such as I-See I-Act, GPI, low carbon initiatives etc.

Adhere and comply with Business Ethics, Anti-Corruption, Flight Safety Management System, and others relevant policies, procedures and activities.
Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements :
Candidate must be a Degree holder or equivalent.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Experience in digital and Automation:
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) knowledge's mainly with Allen Bradley and Siemens
PLC Ladder and Grafcet programming experience
Machine Interfaces (HMI) programming knowledge's mainly with Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens and Wonderware
Knowledge of SCADA/Historian such as WinCC/Siemens and Wonderware
Knowledge of industrial IT (infrastructure, networks, servers, etc.)
Databases knowledge's (MS-SQL)
Network configuration (communication protocols, switch, VLAN, etc.)

Candidates must be able to work long hours and during weekends /public holidays.
Able to work under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Able to work with a large community worldwide
Possess strong analytical skill, interpersonal skill and leadership skill.
Able to work well with all levels of positions.
Must be capable of managing time effectively and multi-tasking as necessary.
Demonstrates appropriate level of leadership.
