    Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Manages a project. Coordinates the strategic planning process and monitors progress toward achieving project goals.
    • Assists in developing, administering and monitoring project related budgets.
    • Coordinates logistical arrangements for related conferences, conventions or meetings.
    • May assist in identifying funding resources and in developing funding strategies and initiatives.
    • Develops and generates various operational and statistical reports.
    • Represents and promotes the project at various speaking engagements.
    • May write grants, reports, briefings, newsletters, promotional or other written material related to the project.
    • Performs related responsibilities as required.

    ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES:

    • Oversees running of the Nia Project office
    • Co-coordinates ongoing research studies, including managing participant enrollment and follow-up, training students on assessment administration, overseeing data entry
    • Co-manages the undergraduate research assistant program, including recruitment,interviewing, training, conducting of assessments, making assignments as group helpers,securing coverage for the office, and ensuring adherence to all responsibilities and assigned duties
    • Maintains compliance with the Emory Institutional Review Board and Grady Research Oversight Committee
    • Conducts research assessments
    • Serves as helper for weekly therapy groups
    • Coordinates and assists with coordinating major Nia Project activities and initiatives
    • Assists with day-to-day finances
    • Works with executive team to implement new programs; solve student, patient, and project issues that arise; and support ongoing activities
    • Helps Drs. Kaslow and Dunn with various other tasks as time permits

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related project management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Degree focus in psychology, public health, and/or healthcare; and a minimum of a one-year commitment.

    Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
