Position Summary:


We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Faculty Group Practice Radiologic Patient Flow Associate
Bay Ridge.


Job Responsibilities**:


  • Perform all other duties assigned
  • Identify patient care requirements by establishing rapport and communication with patient/patient families, emergency department staff, radiology staff, and patient transport
  • Gain patient cooperation and reduce anxieties by providing explanations of treatment delays in regards to radiology studies and clinical care
  • Utilize the EPIC (electronic medical system) to track patients and their care to prioritize patient movement
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, radiology technologies to help prepare patient for examinations
  • Prepare patients for imaging exams following departmental protocols.
  • Function as a liaison with radiologic technologist, nursing, and other clinical staff to ensure proper documentation and appropriate exams for patients
  • Resolves patient related grievances by working with patient relations representatives
  • Facilitate storing patient valuables in the designated secured lockers, and documenting the location in the electronic medical records
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
  • Attend nursing shift huddles, regular staff meetings, and inservices

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

The salary range for the role is $48, $50,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.

The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
