    Description
    Manufacturing Engineer
    Baltimore, MD Area
    The

    Manufacturing Engineer would be responsible for:
    Design and implement tools and processes to manufacture new products
    Identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead changes to improve product quality
    Develop process parameters for a variety of manufacturing assembly operations, including heat sealing, laser welding, laser cutting, ultrasonic welding, resistance welding, and battery winding
    Troubleshoot assembly issues and implement corrective actions to minimize recurrence
    Generate and implement work area layouts / participate in 6S initiatives
    The

    Manufacturing Engineer would have the following qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
    Two (2) or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
    Experience with tool design (SolidWorks preferred), process parameter development, machining equipment operation, and laser welding highly desired
    Experience working with lithium-ion batteries
    S. Citizenship required for government clearance and or data/software access.
