- Learning the entire menu inside and out, so you're able to describe, create, and train other kitchen staff on preparation and flavor profiles.
- Carrying out all tasks in a reasonable time frame to ensure the smooth running of the areas.
- Using a keen eye to monitor restaurant standards in both food preparation, storage, kitchen cleanliness, dish composition, and general maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Consistently complying with food labeling and temperature protocols
- Demonstrating a keen interest in the industry as a whole and a passion for keeping up with current trends.
- Communicating clearly, professionally, and concisely whilst actively listening to others and giving careful consideration to their needs and opinions.
- Collaborating with and helping new team members, offering support, advice, guidance, and encouragement when applicable.
