    Job Description

    Bowser Automotive is looking for Business Development Agents to join its Business Development Center (BDC) in support of the sales department. As a Business Development Agent, you will play a key role in the initial customer contact team for individuals interested in purchasing a vehicle through our website. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers through email and phone communication, providing information on vehicle features, and scheduling appointments with our dealership's sales team.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Handle inbound calls and internet inquiries, including transferred sales leads and calls from current and potential customers
    • Initiate outbound follow-up calls and emails to sales leads, convincing potential customers to schedule appointments with our sales professionals
    • Address inquiries regarding vehicle details, company information, and direct calls to the relevant manager
    • Meet Quality Assurance Requirements and other key performance metrics
    • Adhere to Bowser policies and procedures, including safety protocols

    Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
    • Effective listening skills, ability to ask insightful questions, address concerns, and handle objections
    • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, initiative, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic business environment
    • Display a professional and approachable demeanor, building quick connections with customers over the phone and online
    • Exhibit persuasive and closing skills
    • Proficiency in quickly learning and navigating new software
    • Typing speed of 30 words per minute or higher
    • Previous experience in telesales is advantageous but not mandatory

    Physical Requirements:

    • Spending no more than 8 hours a day at a computer workstation
    • Capability to lift up to 20 lbs. at a time
