Akers Packaging Service, a family owned business established in 1963, has an immediate need for an Industrial Maintenance Technician at our Middletown, Ohio facility.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of the facility and the maintaining and repairing of the equipment used in the manufacture of corrugated products.

The summary of responsibilities include the following, although other duties may be assigned:

• Performing preventive maintenance on all manufacturing equipment in accordance with the established preventive maintenance schedule
• Making repairs to both the facility and equipment as required
• Maintaining a parts and supply inventory
• Having the knowledge of available resources, to include outside contractors and providers of parts and supplies
• Work in a safe and efficient manner

REQUIREMENTS:

This position is a full time position on 3rd shift, 11:00pm - 7:00am.
Must have a minimum of 3 years maintenance
experience in a manufacturing environment,
preferably in the corrugated industry.

Preference given to those with Technical, Trade, or Vocational school degree/certificate in Industrial Maintenance. Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.

This position - based on experience - pays between $ $29.63 per hour, with an annual increase every July 1st.
