Technical Assistant (m/f/div) / Lab Technician (m/f/div) for Electron Microscopy in the Department of Cell and Virus Structure / CryoEM Technology, working with John Briggs and Juergen Plitzko
We are seeking a motivated individual with a degree in laboratory or technical assistance in the sciences to join our team and pursue a career in electron microscopy.
The Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry has a dynamic community of electron microscopists who collaborate with international and industrial partners to develop and utilize cutting-edge cryo-electron microscopy, tomography, and focused-ion beam scanning electron microscopy techniques. We are looking for a technical or laboratory assistant who is eager to operate and maintain our electron microscopes, and contribute to our research projects aimed at improving and advancing electron microscopy technology for studying biological samples. The successful candidate will work in a highly motivated, international, and multidisciplinary research environment alongside teams conducting state-of-the-art research using cryo-electron microscopes.
