Your tasks
From glass blanks to finished products. Whether it's glass for modern facade constructions, conservatories, or display cases - it's always flat glass that receives the desired properties through various processing methods. As a flat glass technologist, you will learn the different methods and procedures to produce a product according to customer requirements from the base glass. This includes:

Accurate processing and handling of glass
Glass cutting, grinding, edging, polishing, drilling, milling, bending, sandblasting
Glass-specific processing methods in the safety and/or insulating glass sector
Operating and managing machines and systems for flat glass processing
Handling of machines and tools
Quality assurance

Your qualifications

You have a good secondary school leaving certificate or high school diploma and possess manual dexterity. Open-mindedness and teamwork are among your strengths.
