    Description

    Basic Qualification:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
    • about 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
    • US citizen

    Responsibilities:

    • Enthusiastically support and contribute to manufacturing program and tools.
    • Support the development of manufacturing processes; design, modify and test methods and equipment requirements.
    • Process improvements: Conducts evaluations, suggests designs and spearheads development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
    • Mitigate waste: maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
    • Lean Six sigma understanding: Implement lean processes, conduct time studies, identify continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Review, Update and Write detailed process work instructions and standard work.
    • Preparing First Article Inspection reports (FAIs) for new parts process changes
