- Combining business lines in Mason City, Iowa, and Central Illinois
- Providing HR service and support in multiple geographical areas, necessitating travel
- Coordinating effectively with Region and Corporate HR departments, plant managers, and plant management team
- Maintaining relationships between management and employees, handling policy interpretation and discipline
- Directing employment activities, ensuring compliance with labor laws
- Developing and implementing personnel training programs
- Managing the Performance Management System and employee skills utilization
- Ensuring compliance with AAP and regulatory requirements
- Providing a variety of human resource services including recruitment, employee relations, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service-oriented with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and 3+ years HR experience
- Experience in manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of employment law, and recruitment/staffing
- Understanding of Labor Relations/Collective bargaining and MSHA regulations
- Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office products
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively with training experience preferred
- Willingness to travel between plants as necessary
