- Start off the guest experience by warmly welcoming guests in a timely, friendly and professional manner. Thank guests on their way out to complete the guest experience
- Strategically seat parties to manage the flow of the restaurant, balancing walk in customers, delivery and phone orders as necessary
- Educate, interact and connect with our guests through the food, ingredients and culture
- Set the ambiance (music, lights, cleanliness, etc) of the dining room for an enjoyable and memorable guest experience
- Be personable, always greet patrons, engage with a positive attitude and make an effort to remember regulars
- Be a team player, and work together with your team to foster a healthy and warm atmosphere
- Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary
- Support and assist with bussing and resetting tables

- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal communication and positive interpersonal skills required
- 6+ months experience as a Host
- Service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Able to acquire a California Food Handler's & Responsible Beverage Service Certification (before or within 1 month of hiring)
- Bilingual is a plus

Position Summary:
Teakwood is looking for a part-time afternoon Host. It is the opportunity to act as a brand ambassador for bridging cultures through food. Take our patrons on a culinary adventure through education, quality customer service, and making sure they have a positive experience at our restaurant We are counting on you to be an extension of our brand.
