    Interested in joining our team as a Public Works Custodian? Check out the details below:

    • Perform responsible unskilled work in building care and cleaning
    • Work under general supervision
    • Shift hours from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays

    This role involves medium to medium-heavy work and various physical tasks like climbing, balancing, and lifting. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Essential Functions/Typical Tasks:
    • Cleaning buildings and facilities
    • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting offices
    • Operating cleaning equipment
    • Disposing of trash and recyclables
    • Setting up rooms for activities and meetings
    • Performing maintenance tasks like painting and furniture moving
    • Ensuring security of buildings

    Skills and abilities required for this position:

    • General knowledge of building cleaning practices and equipment
    • Ability to follow directions and work independently
    • Physical stamina for manual work
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with associates

    Education, experience, and special requirements:

    • Minimum high school graduation or equivalent
    • Previous custodial experience is a plus
    • Subject to drug/alcohol testing and background check
