    Responsibilities:
    Perform janitorial dutiesPerform all duties listed on the daily scheduleFloor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)


    Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, clean blind and draperies)Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas)Light maintenance (rePerform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.

    Operate motorized cleaning equipmentMaintain daily upkeep of assigned areaReport incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisorComply with safety rules, policies, and proceduresStop at risk behavior of others and selfPerform work assignments in a team with other employeesPerform repetitive tasksMaintain clean work areaFollow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rulesTake direction and respond to supervisionTalk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional mannerFill in during staff shortageSupport shift lead in completing punch-list itemsUse proper personal protective equipmentPresent a professional appearance and conductUnderstand customer service and satisfactionUnderstand reporting systems, and of the environmentQualifications:

    Bilingual a plusPassing a drug test is requiredCustodial experience is preferred but not requiredKnowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with teamKnowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipmentKnowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient useMay be required to have a valid drivers license.

    Completed all safety and task training certification.
    May be required to be forklift certified.
    No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
