We are seeking a Data Scientist who will use a diverse range of data-focused skills and experience, both technical and analytical.
Responsibilities:
- Work with large, complex, and disparate data sets
- Design and implement innovative ways to analyze and exploit the customer's data holdings
- Research and report on a wide variety of customer's inquiries
- Raise proactive inquiries based on observations and proposed data analysis/exploitation
- Develop custom searches
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external partners as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required #qinetiqclearedjob
- Experience using Excel to create data calls, process data call responses, and clean/condition data, create and use pivot tables, and create charts/graphs.
- Ability to script and write VBA in Excel is a plus.
- Experience creating analytic visualizations using Tableau
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Power BI a plus.
- Experience with scripting and VBA in Excel a plus.
