Janitorial Services & Maintenance Technicians respond and attend to guest repair requests, and communicates with other departments, guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues throughout property.

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Communicate with other departments and guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms, tools and equipment including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio, refrigerators, microwaves)
• Identify, locate and operate all shutoff valves for equipment.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Record information for finished and unfinished calls.
• Clean designated areas including, but not limited to: guest rooms, restrooms, public areas, lobby, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
• Greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair.
• Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
• Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest's service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Support team to reach common goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Requires good communication skills
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Support team to reach common goals.
• Work well with all departments

• Be on time for all shifts
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Strong customer service skills and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure

• Janitorial: 1 year

• High school or equivalent (required)

• Paid time off
