The Campaign Planning Director is responsible for leading and managing the Campaign Planning Team tasked with executing advertising campaigns and fulfilling related obligations as part of the national sales process.
The role is responsible for managing internal progress and KPI reporting as well as team development and oversight with heavy emphasis on client services.
Job Responsibilities- Develops, manages, and monitors implementation of workflow and processes across the execution of campaigns and ensures seamless delivery of best practices and oversees process improvements
- Leads continuous coaching efforts on processes and practices, communicates expectations, identifies training needs
- Analyzes workflow data to improve processes and ensures proper resource allocation
- Presents reports and analytics to ensure service levels are met and takes corrective actions as needed
- Drives adoption of best practices through example setting, positive reinforcement, and behavioral correction
- Ensures all team members have the tools to perform their job successfully
- Directs meetings to address strengths and weaknesses and finds solutions to improve operations
- Manages supervisors to understand skills necessary to achieve their goals
- Guides employees with career growth and understands desired career path and advises on skills needed
- Directs the recruiting, hiring, and training of individual contributors and supervisors
- Oversees cultivation of customer relationship with internal and external clients
- Other projects as assigned
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience
- 6+ years' experience working in an advertising sales, client services, or agency environment, with people and process management experience
Skills:
- Able to effectively combine analytical thinking, process management, and problem solving to drive results
- Experience in successfully managing teams working with multilayer processes
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including ability to communicate processdriven concepts clearly and concisely
- Experience in managing resources
- Ability to set, implement and reinforce servicelevel agreements
- Ability to motivate others
- Welldeveloped interpersonal skills, maturity, credibility, confidence, proactiveness, and integrity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio or similar diagramming software

- Employee must have the ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of 8 hours a day and complete tasks requiring repetitive use of hands
- Employee must have the ability to lift and move items up to 20 pounds
- Employee must have the ability to see written documents, computer screens and to adjust focus
- This job is performed in a temperaturecontrolled office environment
