Participate in Information Technology activities which support/benefit the business unit, including: account provisioning for the System; assure processing of tickets from a queue quickly and accurately.

Provide general support to the Information Technology business unit. Utilize judgment and problem-solving skills to complete tasks independently.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Must be able to adapt to a large, complex, multisystem business environment, confer with both internal and external customers and vendors, and manage expectations of a diverse and demanding user constituency.
  • Works independently on routine assignments.
  • Performs complex tasks independently.
  • Supports business unit activities through performing job activities.
  • Can function as a member of a larger team.
  • Defines tools and procedures for daily operational support.
  • Works on routine analysis type problems related to a single or multiple activities or procedures that have a variety and moderate difficulty.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on all tasks and processes.
  • Learns user functions, organization and role in the Albany Med environment to the extent required.
  • Maintains technical skill set in order to perform job duties.
  • Performs at or above the Information Technology performance standards.
  • Communicates well, both verbally and in written form.
  • Fulfills business unit requirements in terms of providing work coverage and administration notification during periods of personnel illness, vacation or education.
  • Other duties or assignments as designated by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
