    Radiologic Technologist- New Grads Accepted- Westfield, NJ


    Job Summary:
    The Radiologic Technologist scrub assistance is plus.


    Shifts :
    M-F 8hrs

    Radiologic Technologist/ Special Procedures Tech Responsibilities include:


    • Good to have scrub experience.
    • Sets up sterile table, instruments and supplies according to procedure and physician preference card.
    • Scrubs, gowns and gloves in accordance with AORN standards.
    • Anticipates and assists surgeons according to prescribed standards.
    • Cost conscious in utilization of supplies for procedures.
    • Applies and maintains the aseptic technique in delivery of care to patients.
    • Assists in application of dressings as needed.
    • Decontaminates all equipment and instruments; cleans room per TCVCG policy/procedures.
    • Maintains and operates all departmental equipment necessary for patient care (i.e. C- arm, ultrasound, various catheters); maintains par levels of equipment.

    Skills and Experience:

    • New Grads are accepted with little work experience in an internship.
    • Minimum 2 years as an x-ray tech with Scrub assistance (preferred).
    • Maintains a professional appearance takes pride and ownership of work and works in a cooperative, team-oriented manner.
    • Possesses the physical ability and perceptive acuity (e.g. visual, hearing) to perform all direct and indirect care functions.

    Certifications/ Education:

    • ARRT certification is must.
    • Graduate of an accredited surgical tech program or radiography program, or equivalent knowledge gained by experience.
    • NJ State license is must.
    • BLS certification (preferred)
