Amentum seeks aFinancial Analytics PBI Business Systems Analyst IV
to analyze existing or proposed systems or designs data processing programs and related procedures to process data. Use a multi-step process from systems investigation, analysis, design, implementation and maintenance to bring new or changed systems on-line.
This is a remote-telework opportunity. US Citizenship is required.
Job Duties:
Essential Responsibilities:
The candidate should have expertise in Power BI and its various features such as data modeling, report development, visualization, and dashboard creation.
The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to analyze data to identify trends and insights.
The candidate should have experience with SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries and working with large data sets.
DAX:
The candidate should have a strong understanding of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and be able to create complex calculations and measures using DAX functions.
The candidate should be proficient in creating data models and have experience with various data modeling techniques such as star and snowflake schemas.
The candidate should have experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and be able to design and implement them using tools like SSIS or Azure Data Factory.
The candidate should have experience working with cloud platforms like Azure and be able to use them for data storage, processing, and analysis.
The candidate should be able to work collaboratively with other team members, communicate effectively, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
The candidate should be committed to continuous learning and keeping up to date with the latest tools, technologies, and industry trends.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and
Abilities Required:
Bachelors degree in computer science, or related field, and at least seven years of job-related experience or equivalent.
Good written and oral communication skills and familiarity with word processing, database, spreadsheet programs and integrated software applications are required.
Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance in the future.US Citizenship is required to apply.
