    Position: Director of CVICU

    Location: Fort Pierce, FL

    Facility Spotlight: Join a leading 380-bed acute-care facility known for its Heart Institute and a wide range of comprehensive services. This hospital is recognized for its exceptional care in open-heart surgery, orthopedics, oncology, adult and pediatric emergency services, and more. As a Level II Trauma Center with a dedicated freestanding ER, the focus is always on patient-first care in a vibrant, supportive environment.

    Job Summary: In the role of Director of CVICU, you will be at the forefront of leadership, responsible for improving organizational performance, managing resources, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care. This position reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage the CVICU department, focusing on high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
    • Work collaboratively with medical staff and other departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
    • Oversee budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation within the department.
    • Maintain and elevate standards of patient safety and care.
    • Strategic planning and implementation in line with hospital objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2+ years of recent acute care management or director-level experience in CVICU.
    • Active RN license in Florida or recognized compact state licensure.
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
    • Current BLS certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
