    Description

    REQUIREMENTS:


    High school diploma or GEDCourses from a junior college or technical institute, job-related seminars, or ongoing educationPrevious verifiable experience as maintenance mechanic in manufacturing (min of 1yr)3 to 4 years of experience in food processingMust supply own toolsMachining of parts using a lathe, mill, grinders, etc.

    Welding (preferred) - arc, heli-arc, plasma, sanitaryAbility to troubleshoot and repair pumps - both centrifugal and positive displacementAbility to troubleshoot systems through reading schematicsSkilled in electrical constructionSkilled in the use of electronic testing equipment with the ability to simulate bench testing proceduresExperience with utility-related equipment boilers, water systems, air compressors, HVACExperience with automated and high-speed packaging equipmentExperience with computerized maintenance management systemsExperience with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and other computer applicationsStrong electrical and instrumentation skills, and experience with PLCKnowledge of AC/DC drives and related electrical controls


    JOB FUNCTIONS:


    Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production line and facility equipmentPerform predictive and preventive maintenance routines on all equipmentAssist with the installation of new equipment or layoutsAssist with the operation of production line equipmentAssist with other areas of plant maintenance as neededMaintain proper housekeeping in all areas and follow good manufacturing practicesMust be able to participate in emergency response team (able to wear SCBA and respirator)All other duties as assigned by managementPay for this position is $34.70/hrTBG is pleased to offer you a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, company provided life, STD and LTD insurance .
