You will be a great fit if you have a well thought-out technical perspective that you balance with a practical desire to ship to customers.
We are looking for someone with several years of relevant experience building machine learning pipelines and models from the ground up, ideally in a space similar to ads or recommendations.

Ideally you will have:
Experience designing and implementing ML pipelines from scratch
Experience building ML inferences as a service, over HTTP, RPC, IPC or similar.
Familiarity with Cloud Analytics/ML services like SageMaker, Databricks, Snowflake, MLFlow or clickhouse
Experience building out an ML team
Strong troubleshooting skills
Experience working with an agile development team
5+ years of relevant work experience
Nice to have:
Experience working with Rails apps
Familiarity with email-specific topics
Experience working on small, highly productive engineering teams
What you will be responsible for
Leading the development of several high-impact initiatives related to the Ad Network, like replacing our entirely manual advertiser <> newsletter matching process with something driven by ML.
Building predictive models to enable our platform and admin team to deliver a stronger ROI for our advertisersBuilding fraud detection systems to improve the quality of data integrity via the ad network
Prioritizing and triaging a backlog of in-demand feature requests and bugs
Transitioning our tech ecosystem into a more robust and performant version of itself, continuously optimizing for scale
Documenting your thought processes and development
Bringing new ideas to work, suggesting creative solutions, and collaborating with others to bring the absolute best product to market
