The Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting Analyst is responsible for gathering reporting requirements, designing, developing and supporting BI solutions using a variety of BI tools and platforms.

The Analyst will partner closely with Business Stakeholders and Data Analysts to make it fast and easy to use data for decision-making across the company.

The Analyst will work to make sure the organization has the data and insights it needs to make smart decisions and drive continuous improvements.

Essential Functions
Partner with the business analytics and pricing team, management, data analysts, business users and others to understand and gather their reporting requirements and produce data analytics & end-to-end reporting solutions to help shape and drive the development of BI infrastructure, including data warehousing, reporting and analytics platforms
Reconcile multiple logical source models into a single, logically consistent models
Build executive-facing dashboards and visualizations to track progress of important financial and operational metrics
Manage overall analysis and report delivery schedules in accordance with required report distribution protocols and deadlines
Drive evaluations of existing and new business intelligence solutions to deliver more robust self-service analysis and information delivery
Establish and manage functions dedicated to standardized analysis and reporting; provide support for ad-hoc data and reporting requests
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Technology or technical discipline, or commensurate work experience required
5 years of experience with Modern Data Engineering projects and practices including designing, building, and deploying scalable data pipelines required
3 years of experience designing, building deploying cloud-native solutions required
3 years of experience with Azure, SQL, ADF, Python, familiarity with: Snowflake (Matillion is plus) preferred
Financial industry experience preferred
Experience and knowledge to design and develop reports as well as recommend strategies and actions based upon requirements and ability to help define requirements with the Manager, Project Managers and stakeholders
Experience and knowledge to draft Business Requirement Documents for reports
Knowledge of programming and architectural principles, data integration styles, data models and data integration tools for on-prem and/or cloud-based environments
Knowledge of BI, analytics, structured data, such as entities, classes, hierarchies, relationships, and metadata
Knowledge of database management system (DBMS) physical implementation, including tables, joins and SQL querying
Knowledge in technologies across all data lifecycle stages.
Familiarity with the use cases, business purposes and quality of the data.
Familiarity with BI tools such as SSRS (Power Bi, Sigma)
Attention to detail and accuracy required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment
