RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for responding to company and customer needs in a positive, caring manner while striving for prompt, accurate, and efficient transport of all parts shipments
Specific duties include:
- Safely loading, unloading, and delivering parts on a timely schedule as directed.
- Securing material onto the truck and ensuring that material meets state and federal guidelines for safe transport and vehicle capabilities.
- Assisting Parts Departments in sorting and other warehouse duties.
- Able to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Lifting up to 50 lbs., approximately 10 times a day
- Safe work habits include operating a 1/2 to 1ton truck
REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a self-motivated individual with a high energy level. Must be able to work alone and with others successfully and can meet work deadlines.
Additional Requirements:
- Good driving record and a valid Class C drivers' license
- Must have the ability to obtain a forklift License.
- Excellent attendance required
- Exceptional customer service skills. Must be able to interact well with customers and fellow employees
- Must have 5 years of customer service and/or warehouse experience
- Must have 3 years of computer experience and be proficient in MS Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be capable of accurate order processing, excellent attention to detail
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
