    Staff Accountant

    Miramar, FL (onsite)

    Overview: We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team for immediate support in financial reconciliation and reporting. This role involves assisting with monthly reconciliations, preparing financial statements, analyzing expenses, and managing incentive programs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review and reconcile over 40 General Ledger accounts monthly.
    • Assist in monthly supplier bank reconciliations.
    • Support month-end financial report closing and analysis.
    • Aid in quarterly corporate reporting needs.
    • Provide ad hoc division reporting as required.
    • Maintain, process, and analyze all incentive and sales commission programs.
    • Compile and distribute monthly financial statements and reports.
    • Analyze sales expenses against budget and identify variances.
    • Reconcile monthly expenses, identifying causes of fluctuations.
    • Prepare and post necessary journal entries.
    • Track and verify incentive program payments to avoid duplication.
    • Process incentives for payout and submit to payroll.
    • Assist in processing bill backs to suppliers for incentive programs.
    • Prepare analysis reports for management as needed.
    • Process monthly revenue, PST, and commission payouts.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
    • Proven experience in financial reconciliation and analysis.
    • Strong understanding of General Ledger accounts.
    • Proficient in Excel and financial software.
    • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience with incentive program management is preferred.
