Summary
The NFL Media office located in Inglewood, CA is looking for a part-time Production Assistant. This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Production and be involved in all aspects of studio-based shows.


Essential Functions

  • Work closely with show Producers, Segment Producers and Highlights Supervisor on a daily basis to support content created for daily studio programming
  • Work in edit bays responsible for producing various elements for shows with editors
  • Transcribing interviews, press conferences, and other related sound
  • Responsible for watching a game and producing multiple highlights for various studio shows
  • Responsible for archiving important video, teleprompting shows and other various tasks related to production
  • Must be able to respond quickly under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  • Good communication and writing skills are required
  • Daily adherence to established production schedules to meet deadlines A team attitude is mandatory in all tasks requested from the smallest to largest

Required Education and Experience

  • Strong NFL knowledge (present day & historical)
  • Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail/organizational skills
  • Ability to decipher the most important and uptodate information for all NFL stories
  • Strong understanding of workflows in control rooms and edit environments
  • Strong writing skills Ability to perform basic statistical and infobased research

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Previous professional experience in a TV production environment is strongly preferred Basic understanding of linear editing and onair graphics systems

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and/or projects at once and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to establish open communication and perform well under pressure A teamoriented attitude on all tasks, from the largest to smallest

Travel
Some travel may be required during key events (5%)


Salary / Pay Range

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Work no more than 29 hours/week
  • Overnight, weekend and holiday hours are commonly expected
  • Overtime may be required during the busiest times of the season
