We are looking for a Palliative Care Nurse (m/f/d) in full-time or part-time for our Palliative Care Unit.

Requirements:

Completed training as a nurse or geriatric nurse (m/f/d), with experience in hospice or palliative care being an advantage
Palliative care training or willingness to complete it
Empathy and a respectful approach towards patients and their families
Sense of responsibility, flexibility, and initiative
Willingness to participate in supervision and selfreflection

Our Special Features:

The Palliative Care Unit was newly built in 2015 and is located in a separate building (with direct connection to the hospital) with 12 beds
We offer reliable working hours in fulltime, parttime, or night shifts

Your Main Responsibilities:

Ensuring the best possible quality of life for patients is at the center of your work
You enjoy providing individual and imaginative care and support for seriously ill and dying patients and their families based on current palliative care standards
You work independently and on an equal footing in a motivated, harmonious, interdisciplinary team
You also contribute to the preparation and implementation of patient afternoons and participate in memorial services (counted as working hours)
