Position Overview:


KORE Power is currently seeking a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to join our growing company and help us organize and drive results within our Supply Chain team and with our partners.

As a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator, you will organize incoming purchase orders and shipments from suppliers while supporting supplier onboarding, qualification, and communication.

This role will also provide supply chain support to internal stakeholders in resolving invoicing and document requests and will support ERP system data management and integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Order Management/ Procurement

  • Support the procurement team in supplier communication, confirmation of pricing and delivery dates, and followups on purchase order status.
  • Onboard new suppliers and lead vendor setup and qualification in Oracle Fusion ERP system and track documentation and certification status.
  • Investigate and correct invoice and account discrepancies on purchase orders and review corrective action with suppliers.
  • Communicate quality issues and nonconformance reports with supplier contacts and work with procurement and internal stakeholders in resolution of any nonconforming materials.
  • Provide backup support for procurement team in placing purchase orders, requesting quotes, and seeking new and alternative supply sources.
  • Catalog and document purchasing records to maintain visibility and provide support for future document requests.
  • Manage supplier data in ERP system regarding lead times, pricing, and order quantities as needed.

Logistics

  • Obtain quotes, arrange shipments with brokers and freight carriers, and create paperwork for shipments.
  • Manage communication for in transit shipments and provide updates to internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Investigate and correct invoice and documentation discrepancies and file proof of delivery documentation as needed.
  • Submit freight claims and communicate with brokers and carriers for any missing or damaged product in freight to successful resolution.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal warehouse and 3rd party receiving sites to confirm receipt of deliveries and documentation for internal filing.
  • Maintain existing logistics policies and standard work and ensure continued compliance with laws and regulations (Oversize permits, hazardous materials, etc.).

Qualifications/Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field or relevant work experience.
  • 13 years of supply chain experience, preferably in purchasing or logistics functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in using ERP systems and vendor service portals.
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Must be selfmotivated and a great team player.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to communicate orally. Hearing and vision within normal ranges with or without an assisted hearing device.
  • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of up to 25 lbs. of force may be required.
