Qualifications:

This position requires knowledge of restoration and construction, strong computer skills, ability to estimate emergency and subsequent repair expenses, and the ability to manage multiple projects

Excellent communications skills, a positive attitude and being able to manage under stress are a must

Knowledge of Xactimate required

Must be a local resident, in-office hours and local site visits required

3 to 5 years Xactimate experience a MUST

Ability to develop new relationships in the Insurance industry

Strong customer service skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Competent computer skills a must

Solid experience and knowledge of estimating losses with Xactimate software

Confident when coordinating with adjuster and/or agents on all estimates

Highly motivated, high energy, independent and detail-oriented TEAM PLAYER

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously

Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public

Can do' attitude and be willing to 'do what it takes'

Desire to excel in this position, creating an opportunity for advancement

Associate Degree or extended experience


Responsibilities:

Support Upper management and Project Managers on all jobs

Work closely with Coordinators, Technicians and Sub-contractors to obtain required paperwork needed to submit completed jobs for payment

Travel to job locations to collect detailed information, when needed

Participate in the after-hours and weekend on call rotation
