Candidate oversees the team and is responsible for oversight over the risk assessment process, all aspects of AML/Anti bribery and corruption (ABAC)/Sanctions/Fraud compliance programs for businesses and legal entities and include full coverage over US businesses and/or corporate functions where applicable. Manage all high-risk initiatives and all escalations.
They will support execution of AML, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption Risk Assessment. The role will have exposure to a diversity of challenges across the company and will contribute to building a strong risk management culture within a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the role will provide AML subject matter expert guidance for change initiatives/projects relating to Risk Assessment activities. The incumbent will work with senior management and partners to develop strategies, tactics, programs and policies related to the execution of the Risk Assessment and be responsible for liaising with the Risk Assessment stakeholders to help with the execution of the Risk Assessments, including compiling and drafting guidance/oversight material and, where appropriate, running meetings and coordinating associated follow ups. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements related to AML, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption and a proven track record in providing effective risk management solutions.

7+ years relevant experience in BOTH audit and risk assessment experience
Has to have experience building a risk assessment and controls program from the ground up, building risk assessments and challenging them
Advanced knowledge of anti-money laundering disciplines, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, banking industry, and product/customer markets
Previous management experience (will be leading a team of two which will grow over time)
Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations
Ability to contribute to strategic direction of the function and provide advice to leadership
Skill in managing budgets, P&L and resource allocation
Advanced ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of initiatives
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements related to AML, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption and a proven track record in providing effective risk management solutions.
