Job Summary:
The Training Facilitator will support the Training Team in all aspects of providing industry specific and job readiness skills, incorporating topics directly related to industry best practices, while engaging a broad demographic of clients and business/hiring partners.
This position directly supports the development, implementation, and presentation of MND career training. Occasional evening cohorts are required. $40K to $50K annually to start, plus fringe, PTO, employee assistance plan and Specialized Employee Pension.Duties and Responsibilities
The Training Facilitator will:
- Assist in the preparation of training curriculum for all necessary areas, including preemployment, industry related skills and knowledge, and certification prep in all forms (written, online, and video)
- Facilitate workshops on industry curriculum, as well as various job readiness and career development topics based on MND's training model.
- Research regional and national industry data to assist the organization in identifying future growth industry sectors for training opportunities for clients.
- Manage industry related materials, exam scores, and classroom participation
- Engage clients and other business community stakeholders to participate in training
- Conduct surveys and assessments to evaluate interest and progress
- Document and report back relevant data to Direct Service team and other staff as needed
- Collaborate with staff to brainstorm additional industry options and opportunities
- Attend all partnership, direct service and staff meetings as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Passion for teaching and work experience in training and/or curriculum development
- High level of diverse computer literacy, including various platforms and tools, as well as proficiency with typical MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience in training, technology or curriculum development
- Excellent and engaging presentation skills
- Effective oral and written communication
- Experience working with diverse populations and young adults a MUST
- Ability to learn industry skills and certification needs for career advancement
Pay:
$45, $50,000.00 per year
