- Greet guests, takes order, close sale, and thank the customer
- Provide excellent customer service in the Café
- Have full knowledge of the menu options, cooking methods, and ingredients for aggressive up-selling and to promote daily specials
- Prepare coffee and coffee beverages
- Prepare smoothies and other beverages according to standardized recipes
- Operate POS system: including the accurate entering of sales information, receiving payment for products, processing credit card transactions, making correct changes, processing refunds
- Complete side work as assigned for opening, closing, and throughout the day
- Ensure items ordered match items received
- Assist with cleanliness of café and surrounding areas
- Clean and clear tables within a timely manner
- Restock items accordingly
- Set, service, and maintain Café dry items such as condiments and pre-packaged foods
- Report safety and security issues promptly and correctly to supervisor
- Other duties as required
- Requires computer literacy in Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office Products
- Must be able to work with POS system
- Food Safety Handlers Certificate
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Proper Telephone etiquette
- Cash handling experience a must

Education and/or Experience
