- Review instances of large fraud attacks and create comprehensive mechanisms to stop them
- Report on fraud trends and improve org level health of evaluation systems
- Create and maintain dashboards that detect and inform stakeholders (such as payment product owners) on how to stop fraud
- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent 6+ years of experience in data analytics
- Highly data driven
- Able to source and analyze data to drive business strategies and decisions
- Skilled with writing, tuning, and troubleshooting SQL queries
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL pipelines
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience in e-commerce / on-line companies in fraud / risk control functions
- Experience in collaborating across multiple stakeholders - Program Managers, Scientists and ML team

BRP safeguards every financial transaction across all Amazon sites, while striving to ensure that these efforts are transparent to our legitimate customers.
As such, BRP designs and builds the software systems, risk models and operational processes that minimize risk and maximize trust inAs a Sr.
Risk Manager in BRP, you will be responsible for analyzing terabytes of data to identify specific instances of risk, broader risk trends and points of customer friction.
You will develop scalable solutions for fraud prevention.In addition, you will be responsible for building a robust set of operational and business metrics and will utilize metrics to determine improvement opportunities.
Key job responsibilitiesPerform complex data analysis to proactively generate actionable insights
Independently solve ambiguous business problems and design risk strategies that are not clearly defined
Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing
Strategically influence cross-functional teams in solving broad problems

Our team consists of Risk Analysts, Risk Managers, Data Scientists, Business Intelligence Engineers and Applied Scientist rolling under the core Buyer Risk Prevention Machine Learning Team.
