a tuition reimbursement program; As a Field Service Technician, you will perform and carry out all tasks related to installing, assembling, servicing, and repairing Aerzen products.
You are also responsible for providing customers with prompt, professional and high-quality service. Overnight travel on short notice is often required.Performs startups, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, repairs and/or preventive maintenance service on all Aerzen Products at customer sites; Installing, configuring, calibrating and maintaining control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic, analog & digital); Installing and terminating electrical, pneumatic and fluid connections; Understand controls narratives and analyze/troubleshoot process application related issues.
Properly address TCP/IP networks and RS-485 communications.Perform repairs and assembly on Aerzen Products; diagnose problems with Aerzen machines by evaluating material condition and asking the customer questions; Read, understand and use equipment diagrams, checklists, engineering drawings, and other process documentation to perform service tasks, assembly and repairs on Aerzen Products.
Assist engineering in plant design, modifications and hazard analysis.Complete written repair reports to document cause of failure, description of work performed, materials consumed, condition of equipment as received and as returned to the customer.
Conduct customer training on Aerzen Products when onsite.Education:
High School Diploma or associate degree (2 years schooling) in electronics technology, or associated field. 5+ years of field experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience:
Over 4 years of Field Service and Repair experience.
Ability to read and interpret diagrams (dimensions, assembly, electrical)
Ability to regularly use a forklift, ladder, hand tools, power tools, welding, calibrated measurement devices, hydraulic equipment is a must.
