- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders and to enhance device security and user privacy
- Design and build security solutions to facilitate secure manufacturing of Spectacles
- Research, design and develop cutting edge security features to enhance the security posture for Spectacles
- Improve infrastructure for fuzzing and automate security validation
- Experience in platform-level vulnerability hardening / testing in Linux based systems
- Skilled with security auditing and risk assessment
- In-depth understanding of authentication, security protocols and applied cryptography
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience
- 3+ years of experience with software development in one or more languages, and data structures / algorithms
- 1+ year of experience building software for data privacy or security on Linux based systems
- Experience in cryptography, application/system security focussed on embedded systems development
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- Experience with Trusted execution platforms such as ARM Trustzone

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) :
The base salary range for this position is $152,000-$228,000 annually.
Zone B :
The base salary range for this position is $144,000-$217,000 annually.
Zone C :
The base salary range for this position is $129,000-$194,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
