Description
Our company is seeking someone with a valid 7D certificate who can work independently and as part of a team.
Drivers will be responsible for picking up and driving children to specific destinations.Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe transportation of children from home to designated destinations
- Cover different routes when requested by the transportation coordinator.
- Notify the transportation coordinator of any faulty equipment promptly.
- Maintain a clean environment
- Complete pre and posttrip checklists as required.
- Keep a daily record of mileage, route, and passenger attendance.
- Take the van to a repair shop as needed.
- Report delays, accidents, and emergencies promptly to the transportation coordinator
- Respond to emergency and nonemergency situations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid Massachusetts driver's license for at least three (3) years.
- A nonexpired 7D certificate is preferred.
