Job Summary:


As the Credentialing/Licensing Manager, you will play a vital role in our administrative team, overseeing the credentialing and licensing processes for our healthcare providers.

You will ensure that all medical staff members are appropriately credentialed and licensed to practice, in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

This role involves collaborating with various departments to streamline processes, maintain accurate records, and uphold our commitment to quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities:


Credentialing Process Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive credentialing policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the credentialing and recredentialing process for all healthcare providers.

Credential Verification:

  • Verify education, training, licensure, certifications, and work history of healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate credentialing files for each provider.

Licensing Compliance:

  • Oversee the licensing process for healthcare providers.
  • Stay informed about state licensing requirements and updates.
  • Monitor license expirations and renewal deadlines.

Compliance and Accreditation:

  • Stay abreast of changes in regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and legal counsel.

Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for credentialing and licensing inquiries.
  • Foster positive relationships with medical staff, department heads, and external entities.

Performance Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
  • Analyze credentialing and licensing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field.
  • Certification in healthcare credentialing preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare credentialing and licensing.
  • Thorough understanding of credentialing and licensing standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in credentialing and licensing software.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay:
$66, $69,575.00 per year
