Responsibilities:


  • Support the Quality Manager in ensuring safe work environment and practices within the organization.
  • Performs part and process inspection to ensure compliance including first article inspection, 2nd checks, inprocess inspection, random audits, etc.
  • Modify work instructions as needed.
  • Assists with ISO audits and document development and maintenance of the ISO system.
  • Assists with training and development of personnel.
  • Support projects to ensure key Quality Objective metrics are achieved.
  • Support manufacturing in eliminating the following types of waste (DOWNTIME)
:

Defects, Overproduction, Waiting, Non-utilized talent, and Excess processing

  • Other tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager and/or management.

Requirements:


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Computer experience (Microsoft Office)
  • Quality Control (QC) experience helpful
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, safety rules, production schedules, purchase orders, maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Ability to accurately record inspection results on required documents and summarize results including reworks and waste
  • Ability to inspect products and verify adherence to standards using required inspection equipment
  • Able to communicate effectively with employees, office personnel, and management
