Job Scope:

The Food Safety Sanitation employee is to be proficient in every aspect of properly adhering to all but not limited to routine cleaning of machinery, sanitizing in regard to cross-contamination, and working closely with QC/QA Department.

Perform regular upkeep of the Plant offices & facility.

Work Environment:
Work is performed indoors and outdoors, Works in wet, cold, hot, dusty areas, and at heights. Works near operating equipment and loud noise, such as forklift horns, machinery, and loose particles may be present.

Work performed in this job requires employee to wear bump cap, hearing protection, safety shoes/boots, and safety glasses at all times.

Shift:

Night:

6PM 6:25AM 12HR Shifts Overtime Calculated After 8hrs**Must be available to train on days then move to nights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure mínimal risk of crosscontamination by properly utilizing colorcoded equipment in the appropriate colored zones.
Complete clean out of production lines by foaming, sanitizing, scrubbing, scraping using various chemicals and tools.
Work in confined space (Upon successful completion of training)
Complete the Master Sanitation schedule of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
Sort through all bad pallets.
Sort chemicals, mix and fill up Sanitizer tanks.
Complete special projects given by Supervisor/Manager
Perform and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's).
Working overtime is MANDATORY and requires full participation.
Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in accordance with company policy.
Perform all functions in accordance with sound safety practices and procedures.
Report all safety violations and safety hazards to the Shift Supervisor immediately.
Forklift Experience a Plus
Participate in all safety programs.
Have strong work ethic and attendance.
