Residential Program Specialist - North Hampton, United States - Easterseals NH
Description

Easterseals NH services include early childhood centers of excellence, medical rehabilitation, camping and recreation, vocational services, senior services, substance use treatment, adult day programs, community-based services, individual service options, transportation services, residential service options, and veterans services.
Work directly with the Program Manager to assist in reviewing, monitoring and participating in the development, implementation and monitoring of program goals.
Act as a Peer Guide for assigned new Direct Support Associates (DSA) which includes providing on the job training and program orientation with assigned DSA maintaining and documenting contact with assigned DSA for a minimum of six months, consistently demonstrate professionalism, exceptional customer service, and positive demeanor and elevate any positive feedback and/or concerns to supervisor.
In this role you will also assist with preparation and compliance of required documentation as requested by supervisor and perform direct support responsibilities as necessary including personal care and transportation.
About the home:
This is a beautiful home in the community of North Hampton, NH supporting 4 adults (male and female). This residential program enables the individuals living with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs to realize their full potential.
In this community-based service model, the individuals have regular access to their community and the program is focused on supporting individuals to live, learn, work and play in their communities.
All staff are trained to provide safe and nurturing care and the team works to build and strengthen natural supports and relationships with families.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Human Services or related field and (1) year of Direct Support experience OR a High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of Direct Support experience.
You must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance for transportation requirements.Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation:
$23.62 hourly
