ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promote a zero-injury safety culture. Collaboratively find ways to continuously reduce risks and drive actions for resolution.

Work closely with EH&S and other functional teams to ensure environmental, health, and safety processes are executed and improved upon.

Actively engage as a member of the plant leadership team in support of the company and plant's strategic initiatives.
Develop the maintenance staff and technicians to strengthen leadership, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
Lead the maintenance organization to drive up-time, reliability, and yield performance across the site.

Manage and lead the ongoing training of the maintenance team to ensure the right skills are maintained and continue to evolve with changing technology.

Actively engage in weekly and monthly prioritization and help facilitate more complex troubleshooting with operations and engineering resources.
Manage the maintenance budget and monthly spend in close collaboration with the leadership team.
Partner with the engineering and operations team for the planning and execution of capital projects.

Able to be perceptive and have a strong awareness of surroundings to identify potential risks and communicate these risks to employeesSuccessful track record of achieving plant operational goalsDemonstrated knowledge, understanding, and implementation of process improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six SigmaExperience driving and supporting innovative manufacturing systemsExperience supporting and implementing organization development and human resources initiativesBusiness knowledge of budget, asset and cost structure managementExcellent organizational and teamwork skillsStrong attention to detailStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAble to demonstrate practical problem-solving skillsAbility to follow established policies and proceduresProficient computer skills including MS OfficeAbility and willingness to work core hours to support the needs of different shifts

QUALIFICATIONS:

Mechanical Engineering degree, Electrical Engineering degree or related engineering field; Bachelor's or equivalent experience5+ years of experience managing a maintenance function within a manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated results developing and growing a team.

Knowledge of precision, preventive, and predictive maintenance processes (vibration analysis, thermal imaging, laser alignment)Skills with process improvement techniques and tools.

Advanced degree or technical certificationsCMMS experienceMust be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screeningPositive and Verifiable Work HistoryMust follow safety guidelines and wear applicable safety equipment, e.g., safety glasses, side shields, approved safety shoes, and other PPE as neededPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
