Job Summary

Are you a CT Technologist looking for a FRESH START? If so, we can help YOU Cell Staff is a nationwide healthcare staffing company that has partnered with healthcare facilities across California to help them find AMAZING CT Techs. We're looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client's facility

CT Tech Details

Full Time Schedules
Weekends and on call are required
10 hour day shifts available
Contract Position

CT Tech Duties

Perform CT Scans: Operate CT equipment to capture detailed images of patients' anatomy based on physician orders.
Patient Care: Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety during the examination.
Image Quality Assurance: Ensure images meet quality standards by adjusting equipment settings, monitoring patient vital signs, and positioning patients properly.
Radiation Safety: Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and themselves.
Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, including procedural documentation, imaging protocols, and patient history.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure optimal functionality.
Collaboration: Coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images, discuss findings, and assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Continuing Education: Stay updated on advances in CT technology, imaging techniques, and safety protocols through ongoing education and training.

CT Tech Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited educational institution
Licensed as a CT Technologist by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing
1+ year of relevant CT Technologist experience
Other Required Certifications: Venipuncture, Rad Tech License/Fluoro, CRT License, BLS
Trauma facility experience preferred
