    Description
    Town & Country Industries (TCI), an ABC Supply company, is a wholesale distributor of aluminum products, building supplies and industrial products. TCI is proud to be an employee-first company and has received the Gallup Great Workplace Award every year since its inception in 2007.

    TCI is seeking a motivated Warehouse Material Handler / Backup CDL Driver to join its team. In this role, you will ensure the safety of each delivery from the moment you leave the facility until you have completed each job. You will make deliveries in various trucks, including straight box trucks. In addition, you will be required to perform warehousing duties.

    Specific duties may include:
    • Maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse
    • Responding to calls and fulfilling orders for walk-in customers
    • Completing pick ticket orders
    • Unloading/receiving deliveries
    • Pulling and staging orders for each company delivery truck
    • Providing excellent customer service
    • Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery
    • Operating forklifts and 4-directional units safely and responsibly
    • Treating all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner
    • Completing a thorough load check on your truck before leaving branch, ensuring that all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of your truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
    • Responsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assigned
    • Performing all duties safely
    • This position does not require over the road travel
    Specific qualifications include:
    • Valid Class A CDL License
    • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to lift pounds consistently
    • Ability to stand, bend, twist and reach throughout complete shift
    • Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred
    • Positive demeanor and team player
